Q. Where should a line reactor be placed in the circuits, and how does it's exempt status affect the SSCR calculation?

A. Line reactors are normally used upstream of a drive. Line reactors are not required to have a SCCR rating (exception to SB4.2.1) and are not considered when determining the panel's SCCR rating.
