Q. Enclosures - what is expected impact of UL508 on modifying existing enclosures as used now by panel builders.

A. In order for panel builders to use the combination motor controllers on UL's 508A SCCR Database, they will also need to provide the minimum specified enclosure volume for the combination which is a condition of use for the tested combination motor controller at the specified SCCR rating.
