Q. As you talk about the difference between Feeder and Branch Circuit. Were do you make this separation? Is the division at the load side of the main over current device of the panel, or can you have multiple current limiting devices after the main overload device?

A. UL508A, paragraph 2.3 and 2.18 provides the definition of a branch and feeder circuit. Figure 6.3 illustrates what is a feeder and branch circuit are based on the defintions.
