Q. If a solid state relay is used in the control circuit (not the power circuit), would it still limit the SCCR to 5K?

A. If used in the control circuit, a SCCR rating is not required for the solid state relay and the control circuit does not factor into the determination of the SCCR rating of the panel except as applicable per SB3.2.
