Special Construction Circuit Breakers

I-Line® Drawout Connectors and Rear-connected Studs

I-Line® Drawout Connectors

I-Line drawout construction is used in conjunction with obsolete type “DO” I-Line switchboards with plug-on load side connector blocks. This combination allows the circuit breaker to be plug-on connected on the line and load ends. I-Line drawout circuit breakers are primarily used in the telecommunications industry.
To order, simply add the letter “R” in the catalog number prefix of the circuit breaker (e.g., KA36150 becomes KAR36150). Consult Field Sales Office for prices. Circuit breaker catalog numbers do not include required PLC plug-on load connector block. Select separately from table below.

Rear-connected Studs

Rear-connected studs are designed to allow rear termination in applications such as control panels where wire gutter space may be limited. The studs may be bolted directly to the bus or lugs may be attached to the studs.
*
Long and short studs must be alternated on adjacent poles to assure proper electrical clearance
