Timing Modes: On Delay and Off Delay, convertible. On Delay types can be wired for interval- momentary or maintained start and repeat cycle (sequencing, using two devices).
Timed Output Contacts: SPDT or DPDT snap switch. Contacts of each pole must be used on same polarity.
Instantaneous Output Contacts: 1 or 2 SPDT snap switches. Contacts of each pole must be used on same polarity.
Overlapping Contacts: On Delay timers with instantaneous contacts provide overlap between the instantaneous contact and the timed contact on the reset (non-timing) stroke. For example, the N.C. instantaneous contact will close before the N.O. timed contact opens on the reset stroke.
Repeat Accuracy:
Under constant temperature (Per NEMA Standard ICS 5-1993):
±10% to 3 minutes max.
±12% to 5 minutes max.
±40% to 20 minutes max.
Timing Range: 0.05 second to 3 minutes for timers without micrometer dial. For timers with a micrometer dial the timing range is 0.2 second to 3 minutes. Note: most types B and C timing relays without micrometer dial can be adjusted to 20 minutes. Due to manufacturing tolerances not every timer can be guaranteed adjustable from 3 to 20 minutes. For timers with micrometer dial consult local Square D Sales Office.
Reset Time: 34 ms average
Operating Temperature Range: 20° C to 40° C (68° F to 104° F)
Operating Voltages/Voltage Range:
Type B—6 through 600 volts AC, +10%, -15% of nominal.
Type C—6 through 250 volts DC, +10%, -20% of nominal.
